Fall Kids Retreat

  • All kids (1st – 5th grade) are invited to a fun weekend at Lake Forest Ranch for a Fall Kids Retreat!
  • Each kid requires a parent or guardian to be with them during the weekend.
  • There will be a climbing wall, bonfire, gym, and outside activities, along with other fun things to do!
  • 4 meals will be served – Saturday Lunch & Dinner + Sunday Breakfast & Lunch
  • Accommodations will be bunk-style cabins
  • Each person will need the following:
    • Pillow
    • Sleeping Bag
    • Twin Size Sheets
    • Towel,
    • Toiletries
    • Personal Snacks (optional)
    • Bible
  • Gary Permenter will be our guest speaker for the weekend.

GARY PERMENTER

Gary Permenter loves what he does! He is a speaker, minister, and friend who desires to help individuals be who God intends for them to be so that they can do what he intends for them to do. Gary’s preaching is warm, practical, insightful, and never boring. His ministry reflects his sincere love for God and people. He serves all across the country in a variety of events.

Gary is a graduate of Mississippi State University and has earned a master’s degree and doctorate from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to his current ministry, Gary served as the student minister at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Columbus, Mississippi.

A lifelong Bulldog, Gary also is a fan of the Peanuts Gang. He likes to play and watch sports.

  • Saturday
    • 7:00a – Arrive at FBCOB Parking Lot
    • 7:30a – Depart FBCOB via vans/automobiles (We will have room for 30 riders for both vans.)
    • 10:45a – Arrive at LFR in Macon MS. Settle in.
    • 12:00p – Lunch
    • 1:00p – First Session with Gary
    • 2:30p – Free Time for Kids and Parents. (Gaga Ball, Recreation Room/Gym, Fishing in the Lake and Rock Wall for those that sign up.)
    • 5:00p – Supper
    • 6:00p – 2nd Session with Gary
    • 7:30p – Ride around the Lake
    • 8:30p – Bonfire by the Lake
    • 9:30 – Ready to turn in for the night.
  • Sunday
    • 7:45a – Morning Watch by the Lake
    • 8:15a – Breakfast
    • 9:00a – Activity
    • 10:00a – Worship
    • 11:00a – Pack Up + Clean Up
    • 12:00p – Lunch
    • 1:00p – Leave LFR
    • 4:30 – Arrive at FBCOB Parking Lot
