2. Do you have childcare or any programs for children?
|
|
Quality preschool and children's Bible teaching programs are available in a safe and secure environment. We take the safety and security of your child very seriously.
Childcare is provided every Sunday morning by caring members who teach God’s word for children from birth to Kindergarten. Kids 1st through 4th Grade attend children's worship called, "KidsTime" at 9:00 a.m. and at 10:15 they attend Sunday School classes with other children their same age. This allows parents the chance to attend a worship service and a Sunday School Class. 3. Are there Sunday School classes?
|
|
Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m., members meet in Bible Study Fellowship Groups to discuss how God is working in their lives. It is a relaxed and personal enviroment where people can study the word of God. To help you take a closer look at the different small groups and when they meet, we have prepared a Sunday School Directory for you. You can download the directory HERE.

4. What should I wear?
|
|
Dress comfortably. Some people dress up, but most wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday mornings. Wednesday nights are always casual. Whether you are dressed up or dressed down, we want you to come ready to worship God.

5. What is the worship experience like?
|
|
Our desire is to glorify God through our worship, so we focus on the teaching and preaching of God's Word, on prayer, and on response to God.
We offer worship with contemporary music at 9:00 a.m.
We offer worship with traditional music at 10:15 a.m.

6. Where are you located?
|

First Baptist is located at 9235 Pigeon Roost in Olive Branch, MS.
The church is one block east of Highway 305 (Riverdale) traveling on Highland.

7. Where should I park & where should I enter the buildings?
|
|
Visitor parking is clearly marked in the main parking lot adjacent to the worship center. Our Information Center is located just inside the double glass doors between the sanctuary and the Children's Ministry Building. See a map of the campus HERE.

8. Who is the Senior Pastor?
|
|
First Baptist Church of Olive Branch, Mississippi is currently seeking a Senior Pastor. Our church is committed to leading people to glorify God in thought, word, and action! We are seeking a Senior Pastor with a passion to communicate God’s truth in engaging ways, leadership skills to move our staff and congregation to where God desires us to be, a willingness to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in His life and ministry, and a heart to reach our community and beyond for Jesus Christ.

9. Can I volunteer?
|
|
If God is leading you to volunteer, we have a place for you! From audio/visual needs on Sunday morning to greeting people at the front door, we always need people to volunteer here at FBCOB. Just click on the "serve" tab on the home page for more information.

10. How do I become a member?
|
There are a few ways you can join the church.
- Trusting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and following Him in believer’s baptism.
- Moving your membership from another Baptist church.
- Moving your membership from another evangelical church that practices believer’s baptism.
- Affirming your commitment to Christ and participating in believer’s baptism by immersion.
