Kingdom Work
Our work for the LORD is Kingdom work. We never build our kingdom, we only build His Kingdom. When we serve our LORD, we do it for His glory not our own. Too often in the culture of this generation, work for the LORD is done for the wrong reasons. We must strive to keep our focus on serving and not being served. Within the church we must constantly look for ways we can serve. When we stop looking for ways to serve, we begin to believe that the church exists to serve us. The church exists for the lost and hurting people of the world to come to saving knowledge Jesus Christ. Church members make up the army of Christ in the war on lostness in the world! What we do, we must do for the LORD and not for ourselves. Kingdom work never requires earthly recognition. We serve because He first served us! |
